Dr. C.P. Thomas, an Indian native, started on his journey from Hinduism to Christianity on a quest to find out what happens after you die. He traveled down many paths in his search for truth, including “black magic” [or demon worship], parapsychology, mind reading, and fortune telling. But nothing satisfied him until he met the creator of truth: the only true God—Jesus Christ.
Dr. Thomas extended his quest for knowledge and obtained a doctorate in Theology and his ministry now reaches into all 28 Indian states.

| Compassion of Agape |

In 1985 his ministry officially organized as a government non-profit as “Compassion of Agape,” which includes an orphanage, home for widows, and English school.
But Dr. Thomas’s primary mission is to spread the truth of God’s Word and plant churches all over India. Grace Fellowship, under the auspices of Compassion of Agape, is the ministerial fellowship responsible for preaching and planting churches. As of this video production, The Fellowship has planted 75 churches throughout India. Pastors and teachers are trained at Grace Fellowship Bible College in Cochin, where C.P. and his family live in a rented home. Students live and are trained for 2 years in two rented floors of a hotel there. Because the Indian government makes it difficult for Christians to purchase and rent facilities for religious use, many Compassion of Agape churches—large and small—meet in homes throughout the city of Cochin.

From the Bible school, there are pastors and
teachers trained, willing, and able to go all over India to carry out the
mission of spreading the truth of God’s Word and to plant churches all over
India. We can support that mission not
only by providing prayer support, but by providing financial support. C.P.’s vision is to provide financial
support for a pastor’s first two years of planting a church. After this time, the church he plants is
able to provide full support. A single
pastor can be financially supported for just $100 per month. A pastor with a wife and child can be
financially supported for just $200 per month.
